In the light of this advice, ACE has reviewed its Business Plan Factsheets issued in April 2009 and a revised version is now available - please telephone or email ACE if you would like a copy.
The FSA advises having a separate section on items such as historical details; information about board members etc. with an 'active' business plan which can be used to monitor the work and direction of the credit union and be updated regularly. The FSA wants a copy of its 'business planning information note' circulated to all directors - has your credit union circulated this yet?
If your credit union needs help with updating your business plan, please contact ACE. However, for ACE to be able to help you, your commitee/board must have decided on their aims and objectives and how these might be achieved.
