Key Knowledge, Skills and Experience
1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Organised and proactive.
4. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
5. Efficient and adaptable.
6. Accurate data entry.
7. Works well in a team with ability to work using own initiative when necessary.
Main Duties
1. Answer telephone and direct calls as appropriate.
2. Receive and respond to member email messages.
3. Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
4. Create, update and monitor membership, including onboarding of new members.
5. Maintain a thorough and accurate electronic filing system for customer records.
6. Update member files to support compliance with data protection requirements.
7. Review supporting documentation provided from loan applicants and ensure all documentation is correct and validated.
8. Review customer identity checks and request additional documentation where necessary.
9. Email digital newsletters to membership and support the team on various social media platforms.
Additional Duties
1. Take minutes of meetings and circulate Board papers to Board all members.
2. Help with the onboarding of new members, including appointments in our offices.
3. Assist in the product development and promotion of the credit union.
4. Assist with requests made via our website and app.
Housekeeping Duties Common to all Staff
1. Helping to keep our premises and company secure.
2. Recording and reporting any health and safety problems to the Board.
3. Complying with all quality procedures.
4. Ensuring the confidentiality and security of all practice and client documentation and information.
5. Undertaking any specific training or refresher course as and when required.
6. Undertake any other duties and/or special projects that may be reasonably required.
7. Ensure sufficient handover process of day-to-day activities during periods of annual leave.
8. Flexibility to work at any office, as and when required.
